Casablanca, then Rabat: over 6,700 m² of coworking designed and fitted out for IWG's premium brand, to the letter of its international standards.
Spaces is the premium brand of IWG, the world's leading provider of flexible workspace. To open its first centres in Morocco, the group needed a local team able to apply its standards with no approximation.
After training with IWG in Amsterdam in 2020, we became, in partnership with Atelier Mawlawi, the only architects authorised to design and fit out Spaces centres in Morocco and Africa.
Every Spaces centre follows very strict brand rules: zoning, atmospheres, materials, furniture, signage. Our role is to translate them into Moroccan floor plates, with local contractors and skills, without losing any of the experience members expect across the global network.
Training with the group in Amsterdam in 2020: concept, brand rules, operating requirements.
Both centres were designed from shell floors: plasterboard partitions and glazed frames.
The booths, a signature of Spaces centres, were built on site in line with the brand's codes.
At Anfa Place, a new floor opening links the two levels and turns the centre into a single place.
Over 3,500 m² on two levels and 400 desks: reception counter, business area with lounge seating, event space, meeting rooms, private offices and an outdoor area.
Timber-slat ceilings, niches and banquettes, softly toned furniture: the warm, carefully crafted atmosphere that defines the brand.
At the entrance to Rabat, on the Casablanca–Fès ring road: over 3,200 m² on two levels and a basement.
Reception, business area and community table, open-plan offices and meeting rooms, a terrace, and a double-height library wall.
A Spaces centre works like a club: places to focus, places to connect, and spaces to host clients and events.

Applying an international standard down to the last detail, with the country's own resources: that is what we bring to coworking operators and companies rolling out offices in Morocco and Africa.
